A Waif And Stray

Evening everyone...Hope you are all well. On Thursday night Tony and I were getting some fresh air at our front door, it was about 9.30pm, when a little cat came running down the path to us. It kept purring and wanting us to fuss it. I stroked it and couldn't believe how thin it was!!! then it ran into our hall and was crying. I gave it a handful of Jess's food and it dove on it and ate it all. Then it went back outside. We came back in and closed the door. Friday morning we were woken up at 6am by this little cat crying outside our window. Suffice to say we let it in and fed it, I think it has been abandoned. The poor little thing is so scrawny, but very loving. I kept her inside overnight and she snuggled up on a blanket and just slept. The tricky part now comes in introducing her to our 6 year old cat Jess. Any suggestions as to which way would be best to do this? Heres a picture of our new lodger lol

Aww, poor little thing. So cute! How can people be so cruel?!

Oh the poor little mite! I hope she and Jess get along. I don't have any great tips or tricks, but there is one thing that might help. After fussing the new cat, let Jess smell her on your hands, so she can get the "feel" of the newbie without having to be face-to-face. Good luck! :D

Aw poor kitty!
Everything I ever learnt about introducing new cats to existing cats says "go slow", don't try and rush. Here's a great article that may give you some tips.

She's so precious! No tips, sorry! We are lucky enough that our cats love anything and anyone.
